Our Founders

Stoney Grove was co-founded by owners Jake and Shawn in the Summer of 2020. With over 18+ years of collective growing experience, the two friends narrowed their focus on a goal: To join the many cannabis farmers putting out high level product that has solidified Maine as a staple in the world of cannabis.

At Stoney Grove we prioritize the art and craft of growing the plant above all else. All of our inputs and growing practices are organic as we truly believe this leads to a more flavorful product and an overall superior consumer/patient experience.

We started Stoney Grove for many reasons, But when it really comes down to it we grow cannabis because we love it. We grow cannabis because after all this time we’re still excited to walk into the garden in the morning. It doesn’t matter how shitty the market gets or how insane the regulations are. We’re going to continue to grow cannabis because it’s who we are.
